Firmware update using a flash executable file The configuration page lists the firmware version of the device. On the flash-memory-based device, update the firmware code by downloading the latest flash executable file for the device and running the program according to the readme instructions that come with it (see http://www.hp.com/support/ LJm1050. Turn the device off and then on before running the executable file. If the firmware becomes corrupted or fails (usually because of an interruption when attempting to update the firmware), try to upgrade the firmware a second time.
