Using Windows 2000 Installing Retail Windows 2000 To install modem support The driver is located on the Recovery CD in \HP\DRIVERS\MODEM. 1. Double-click \HP\DRIVERS\MODEM\SETUP.EXE. 2. Click Next on the "Welcome..." screen, then Next again. 3. Click "No, I will restart my computer later." and click Finish. Continue installing other drivers. To install integrated LAN support 1. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel. Double-click the System icon, select the Hardware tab, then click the Device Manager button. 2. Double-click the "Ethernet Controller" item under Other Devices. 3. Click the "Reinstall Driver..." button. 4. When the Upgrade Device Driver wizard appears, click Next. 5. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device" and click Next, then click Next again to search for the driver. 6. To install modem support
The driver is located on the Recovery CD in \HP\DRIVERS\MODEM.
1.
Double-click \HP\DRIVERS\MODEM\SETUP.EXE.
2.
Click Next on the “Welcome…” screen, then Next again.
3.
Click “No, I will restart my computer later.” and click Finish. Continue installing
other drivers.
To install integrated LAN support
1.
Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel. Double-click the System icon, select the
Hardware tab, then click the Device Manager button.
2.
Double-click the “Ethernet Controller” item under Other Devices.
3.

4.
