Using Windows 98 Installing Retail Windows 98 Second Edition Networking patch This patch fixes miscellaneous networking issues. 1. Double-click \HP\DRIVERS\QFE\XFER\243199.exe on the Recovery CD. 2. Click Yes to install the Windows 98 SE Q243199 Update. 3. Click Yes to accept agreement. Patch will install. 4. Remove the Recovery CD and click Yes to finish installation and reboot the HP notebook. To install the OneTouch utility This utility enables support for the four OneTouch buttons above the keyboard as well as the multimedia buttons on the front of your HP notebook. 1. Double-click \HP\DRIVERS\ONETOUCH\SETUP.EXE on the Recovery CD. 2. Click OK to install, then OK to acknowledge installation complete. Networking patch
This patch fixes miscellaneous networking issues.
1.
Double-click \HP\DRIVERS\QFE\XFER\243199.exe on the Recovery CD.
2.
Click Yes to install the Windows 98 SE Q243199 Update.
3.

4.
