Simple setup using Quick Setup 1. Insert the CD-ROM (User Software) provided with the printer into the CDROM drive of your computer running Windows. After agreeing the license agreement, the main menu will automatically start up. Click Network Software. • If the operating system is Windows Vista/7/Server 2008/2008 R2, the AutoPlay window Caution appears. Select Run setup.exe 2. A window for selecting a setup method opens. Click Quick Setup. Caution • If Windows Vista/Server 2008 is used and the User Account Control window appears, select Allow. • If the operating system is Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and the User Account Control window appears, click Yes. • In a Windows XP (with SP2 or later), 7, or Server 2003/2008 R2 environment, the following message appears. Click Yes. "When using this application, it needs to be added to the exceptions list of the Windows firewall. Do you want to add this application to the exceptions list?" 3-7

Simple setup using Quick Setup
1.
