Adding a print port The LAN card allows you to select one of two port creation methods: LPR print port and IPP print port. Select the protocol you want to use for printing and click Next. The pertinent port creation window opens. (A) 1. Adding a print port immediately after PR-PortManager installation: Select Yes. Click Finish. 2. The Add PR-PortManager Port wizard starts. Click Next. (B) Select Start, Programs (or All Programs), Okidata, PR-PortManager, and then Add PR-PortManager Port. Click Next. 3-14 Caution • If Windows Vista/Server 2008 is used and the User Account Control window appears, select Allow. • In the Windows Vista/7/2008 R2 operating system, Start is the Windows logo displayed at the bottom left of the screen. • If the operating system is Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.

Adding a print port

Select Yes.
Click Finish.

•
If Windows Vista/Server 2008 is used and the User Account Control window appears,
select Allow.
•
In the Windows Vista/7/2008 R2 operating system, Start is the Windows logo displayed at
the bottom left of the screen.

If the operating system is Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, and the User Account
Control window appears, click Yes.
