Action1 If the PC and the LAN card are not included in the same segment, you need to assign the subnet mask and gateway address to the LAN card. Verify that the subnet mask and gateway address are correctly set to the LAN card, using AdminManager or the Web page of the LAN card. Do not include connections across a router in the network (avoid a WAN or similar Caution environment). Action2 If a DHCP server is included in the network, it will perform automatic IP address assignment. Therefore, the IP address assigned to the LAN card may be rewritten by a DHCP server. To prevent DHCP servers from automatically assigning IP addresses to the LAN card, uncheck Use DHCP, a configuration parameter, and then assign the IP address again. An error occurs during printing.
