INSTALLING THE LAN CARD This section explains the procedure for installation of the LAN card. Once you connect the installed LAN card to the network with the procedure appropriate to your particular user environment, you can use the printer including the LAN card as a network printer. Proceed with the installation while referring to the appropriate chapters in this manual. Caution • Depending on the user environment, the installation procedure you will need to perform may differ from that described in this manual. • Install the printer driver on your PC beforehand. LAN card setup utilities You can use the following utilities to set up the LAN card. Select a utility that suits your user environment. Setup tools Quick Setup Used to install the LAN card initially (recommended). AdminManager Used to make detailed LAN card configuration settings, change the configuration, and manage the LAN card. PR-PortManager Used to install print client software and Popup Status Monitor.
