Use automatic dialing. r Press the one-touch speed dialing button (1 through 6) assigned to the number you wish to fax to; the name assigned to that button is displayed. CANON FAX BACK OR r Press CODED DIAL and enter the appropriate two-digit coded speed dialing code. CCSI/MKT r If a number is not registered for the button or codes, the LCD displays NO TEL # message. Make sure you pressed the correct button or entered the correct code and that the number you want to dial is entered correctly. r If you make a mistake, press STOP. Then press the correct one-touch speed dialing button or press CODED DIAL and re-enter the code. Sending Faxes Press START/COPY. Chapter 4 DIALING r If you do not press START/COPY within five seconds, the MultiPASS C5000 starts sending you document automatically. r If the ALARM light is flashing for any reason, correct the error and press STOP.
