7. Carefully remove the front protective cover from the PHD unit. NOTICE: Ensure that you do not hit the belt unit when removing the front protective cover. 8. Close the belt unit by pushing it up. 9. Close the front cover. 10. Insert the standard 250-sheet tray into the printer, and push until it stops. CAUTION: Do not use excessive force on the tray. Doing so could damage the tray or the inside of the printer. Replacing Retard Roller Keeping the retard roller in the paper tray clean helps ensure the best possible copies. It is recommended to clean the separator at regular intervals. CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, always turn off the printer and disconnect the power cable from the grounded outlet before performing maintenance.
