neighbor timers Set keepalive and hold time timers for a BGP neighbor or a peer group. C-Series, E-Series Syntax neighbor {ipv6-address | peer-group-name} timers keepalive holdtime To return to the default values, use the no neighbor {ipv6-address | peergroup-name} timers command. Parameters ipv6-address Enter the IPv6 address in the x:x:x:x::x format. NOTE: The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of zeros. peer-group-name keepalive holdtime Enter the name of the peer group to set the timers for all routers within the peer group. Enter a number for the time interval, in seconds, between keepalive messages sent to the neighbor routers. The range is 1 to 65535. The default is 60 seconds.
