If you use this command to configure the minimum number of links in a LAG that must be in "oper up" status, the LAG must have at least that number of "oper up" links before it can be declared as up. For example, if one LAG goes down, the other LAG is taken down automatically, providing an alternate path to reroute traffic, avoiding oversubscription on the other LAG.
