This will turn off power to all modules. 6. Disconnect all disk drive modules from the back plane. You do not need to remove them completely. Just pull them out so that the cam handle is fully extended. 7. Remove the controller that was noted as primary in one of the previous steps. 8. Install the "third" controller into slot X. This may mean that you have to move the existing controller into slot Y. 9. Push the on/off button to the on position and allow the array to complete its initialization process.
