PRIORITY TRANSMISSION OF A STORED JOB If you have an urgent transmission job and multiple transmission jobs have already been stored, you can give priority to the urgent job so that it will be transmitted immediately after the job currently being transmitted. This is done in the job status screen. For details on using the job status screen, refer to operation manual for copier. 1 Press the [JOB STATUS] key. 4 Touch the [PRIORITY] key. FAX JOB STATUS LINE DATA CUSTOM SETTING 2 Touch the [FAX JOB] key. WAITING WAITING WAITING FAX JOB The fax transmission DET status and stored jobs PRIOR appear. STOP/D The selected job moves ITING to the position DETAIL immediately following the ITING PRIORITY job currently being ITING STOP/DELETE transmitted. X JOB Transmission of the priority job will begin when the current job finishes. If a job key for a broadcast-type transmission is selected, the name or number of the destination to which the fax is currently being transmitted appears. If the job has not yet begun, the name or number of the first destination to which the fax will be transmitted appears. To return to the job status screen, touch the [DETAIL] key again or touch the or key. 2 3 Touch the job key of the transmission job to which you wish to give priority. The selected key is highlighted. Note The job status is indicated as follows: CONNECTING ... The job currently in progress WAITING Stored job waiting to be executed T XXX XX:XX ..... Job stored with a timer setting RETRY MODE ... Job waiting to be recalled Note The [PRIORITY] key appears when there are at least two stored jobs in addition to the job in progress. 23
