CANCELING A FAX TRANSMISSION You can cancel a transmission job that is in progress or that has been stored. This is done in the fax job status screen. 1 Press the [JOB STATUS] key. FAX JOB STATUS LINE DATA CUSTOM SETTING 2 Touch the [FAX JOB] key. WAITING WAITING WAITING FAX JOB DET PRIOR STOP/D 3 Touch the job key of the transmission job that you wish to cancel. The selected key is highlighted. 4 Touch the [STOP/DELETE] key. A message appears to ITING DETAIL confirm the cancellation. ITING PRIORITY Touch the [YES] key to delete the selected job ITING STOP/DELETE key and cancel the X JOB transmission. If a job key for a broadcast-type transmission is selected, the name or number of the destination to which the fax is currently being transmitted appears. If the job has not yet begun, the name or number of the first destination to which the fax will be transmitted appears. To return to the job status screen, touch the [DETAIL] key again or touch the or key. Note If you do not wish to cancel the transmission... touch the [NO] key. "CANCEL" will appear by a canceled transmission job in the transaction report. 24
