System indicators DC IN 15V DC IN 15V Power POWER BATTERY BUILT-IN HDD The system indicators DISKETTE/ CD-ROM DRIVE The DC IN indicator glows green when DC power is supplied from the AC power adaptor. If the adaptor's output voltage is abnormal or if the power supply malfunctions, this indicator flashes orange. The Power indicator glows green when the computer is on. If you turn off the computer in Resume mode (Suspend, Standby), this indicator blinks orange (one second on, two seconds off) while the computer shuts down. The Resume mode is called Suspend/Resume in Windows 95 and Standby in Windows 98. The functions are essentially the same. Battery Built-in HDD Diskette/CD-ROM/ DVD-ROM drive The Battery indicator indicates the condition of the battery's charge: Green indicates full charge, orange indicates battery charging and flashing orange indicates a low battery charge. Refer to Chapter 6, Power and Power-Up Modes. This indicator glows green when the computer is accessing the hard disk. The
DC IN
indicator glows green when DC power
