Chapter 41 Troubleshooting 2 Make sure you have the Ethernet WAN port connected to a MODEM or Router. 3 Make sure you converted LAN port number four as WAN. Click Enable in Network Setting > Broadband > Ethernet WAN screen. 4 Make sure you configured a proper EthernetWAN interface (Network Setting > Broadband screen) with the Internet account information provided by your ISP and that it is enabled. 5 Check that the WAN interface you are connected to is in the same interface group as the Ethernet connection (Network Setting > Interface Group). 6 If you set up a WAN connection using bridging service, make sure you turn off the DHCP feature in the LAN screen to have the clients get WAN IP addresses directly from your ISP's DHCP server. I cannot connect to the Internet using a 3G connection. 1 The DSL and Ethernet connections have priority in that order. If the DSL or Ethernet connection is up, then the 3G connection will be down. 2 Make sure you have connected a compatible 3G dongle to the USB port. 3 Make sure you have configured Network Setting > Broadband > 3G Backup correctly. Check that the Device is within range of a 3G base station.I cannot access the Device anymore. I had access to the Device, but my connection is not available anymore. 1 Your session with the Device may have expired. Try logging into the Device again. 2 Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See the Quick Start Guide and Section 1.5 on page 20. 3 Turn the Device off and on. 4 If the problem continues, contact your vendor. 41.4 Wireless Internet Access What factors may cause intermittent or unstabled wireless connection?
