Chapter 6 Broadband Table 10 Network Setting > Broadband > 3G Backup (continued) LABEL Mail Server DESCRIPTION Select a mail server for the e-mail address specified below. Over Budget Email Title Send Notification to Email Interval Enable Log Basic Apply Cancel If you do not select a mail server, e-mail notifications cannot be sent via e-mail. You must have configured a mail server already in the Maintenance > Email Notification screen. Type a title that you want to be in the subject line of the e-mail notifications that the Device sends. Notifications are sent to the e-mail address specified in this field. If this field is left blank, notifications cannot be sent via e-mail. Enter the interval of how many minutes you want the Device to e-mail you. Select this to activate the logging function at the interval you set in this field. Click this to hide the advanced settings of 3G backup. Click Apply to save your changes back to the Device. Click Cancel to return to the previous configuration. 6.4 The Advanced Screen Use the Advanced screen to enable or disable ADSL over PTM, Annex M, DSL PhyR, and SRA (Seamless Rate Adaptation) functions. The Device supports the PhyR retransmission scheme. PhyR is a retransmission scheme designed to provide protection against noise on the DSL line. It improves voice, video and data transmission resilience by utilizing a retransmission buffer. ITU-T G.993.2 standard defines a wide range of settings for various parameters, some of which are encompassed in profiles as shown in the next table.
