Printing a Backlit Display, Loading Back Light Film

Printing on Special Media 10. Before printing on another type of paper, be sure to change the Paper Source, Paper Size, and Media Type settings in your printer software as described in Chapters 1 and 2. Also be sure to turn off banner mode using the default-setting mode instructions on page 5-3. If you'll be printing on continuous paper, also be sure to reset the paper release lever, as described on page 3-14. Printing a Backlit Display You can use EPSON Ink Jet Back Light Film to print crisp, translucent images for backlit display. Your printer software automatically makes a mirror image of your design so it appears correctly when viewed from the reverse side. Follow the steps in this section to load a sheet of back light film and select the correct printer settings for a backlit display. Loading Back Light Film Before loading the back light film, make sure the sheet is flat. If the film curls, place it between two sheets of paper and put a heavy object on top to flatten it. Load one sheet of back light film as follows:  Load it in the built-in sheet feeder with the printable, non-glossy, white surface face down following the instructions on page 3-6.  Load it in the manual feeder with the printable, non-glossy, white surface face up following the instructions on page 3-11. 3-33
