When the status changes to "Replace ink cartridge", replace the ink cartridge. Because it is almost time to replace the maintenance box, prepare a maintenance box for replacement. When the status changes to "Replace maintenance box", replace the maintenance box. Check the printing result and perform head cleaning. Execute manual head cleaning from [Cleaning] on the unit panel. If the dot dropouts is not resolved by executing a manual head cleaning three or more times, execute INK RECHARGE on the operation panel. For details, refer to "INK RECHARGE" on page 85 Check the printing result, and if the nozzle clog cannot be permitted, perform repairs. Execute paper feed or printing operation. To prevent occurrence of paper scraps, do not execute auto cutting two or more times without feeding the paper. - Because the internal parts of the printer are near the end of their service life, prepare to replace the printer, or prepare a printer for replacement. When the status changes to "Service required", the printer will not recover until the necessary repairs are performed and the necessary area of the nonvolatile memory is overwritten.  Go to the setting items on the panel and set Nozzle Verification Technology to "Enable".  Or, adjust the room (ambient) temperature to within the range from 5 to 35 °C  {41 to 95°F}. 162
