Variable horizontal tabs You can change the default horizontal tab settings by specifying new tab stops. To do this, use the format: CHR$(27)"D"CHR$(n ) . . . CHR$(n )CHR$(O) 1 k where n1 and nk stand for the first and last of a series of new tab stops, and the CHR$(0) informs the printer that you are through setting tabs. The FX can store up to 32 tab stops; you may specify one or all of these. You may also add stops to one or more of the default tabs, as in the next version of your current program. For your horizontal tab settings, you cannot use a number larger than the one that represents the last column of the page.
