Clock Commands show clock The show clock User EXEC mode command displays the time and date from the system clock. Syntax show clock [detail] Parameters n detail - Shows timezone and summertime configuration. Default Setting This command has no default configuration. Command Mode User EXEC mode Command Usage The symbol that precedes the show clock display indicates the following information: Symbol * (blank) . Description Time is not authoritative. Time is authoritative. Time is authoritative, but SNTP is not synchronized. Example The following command displays the time and date from the system clock. Console> show clock 15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2006 Time source is SNTP Console> show clock detail 15:29:03 PDT(UTC-7) Jun 17 2006 Time source is SNTP Time zone: Acronym is PST Offset is UTC-8 Summertime: Acronym is PDT Recurring every year.
