QoS Commands trust cos-dscp The trust cos-dscp Policy-map Class Configuration mode command configures the trust state. The trust state determines the source of the internal DSCP value used by Quality of Service (QoS). To return to the default configuration, use the no form of this command. Syntax trust cos-dscp no trust cos-dscp Parameters There are no parameters for this command. Default Setting The port is not in the trust mode. If the port is in trust mode, the internal DSCP value is derived from the ingress packet. Command Mode Policy-map Class Configuration mode Command Usage Action serviced to a class, so that if an IP packet arrives, the queue is assigned per DSCP. If a non-IP packet arrives, the queue is assigned per CoS (VPT). Example The following command configures the trust state for a class called class1 in a policy map called policy1.
