Clock Commands sntp trusted-key The sntp trusted-key Global Configuration mode command authenticates the identity of a system to which Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) will synchronize. To disable authentication of the identity of the system, use the no form of this command. Syntax sntp trusted-key key-number no sntp trusted-key key-number Parameters n key-number - Key number of authentication key to be trusted. (Range: 1-4294967295) Default Setting No keys are trusted. Command Mode Global Configuration mode Command Usage The command is relevant for both received unicast and broadcast. If there is at least 1 trusted key, then unauthenticated messages will be ignored. Example The following command authenticates key number 8.
