RMON Commands show rmon events The show rmon events User EXEC mode command displays the RMON event table. Syntax show rmon events Parameters There are no parameters for this command. Default Setting This command has no default configuration. Command Mode User EXEC mode Command Usage There are no user guidelines for this command. Example The following command displays the RMON events table. Console> show rmon events Index --- 1 2 Description Type -------- Errors Log High Broadcast Log-Trap Community --------- device Owner ------ CLI Manager Last Time Sent Jan 18 2005 23:58:17 Jan 18 2005 23:59:48 The following table describes significant fields shown in the example: Field Index Description Type Community Owner Last time sent Description An index that uniquely identifies the event. A comment describing this event. The type of notification that the device generates about this event. Can have the following values: none, log, trap, log-trap. In the case of log, an entry is made in the log table for each event. In the case of trap, an SNMP trap is sent to one or more management stations. If an SNMP trap is to be sent, it is sent to the SNMP community specified by this octet string. The entity that configured this event. The time this entry last generated an event.
