ADF separation pad CAUTION Avoid touching the flatbed glass or the ADF separation pad. Skin oils and fingerprints can contaminate the glass or pad and cause print-quality or paper-pickup problems. 1. Open the ADF cover and lift up the ADF pickup-roller assembly. 2. Use a #8 torx screwdriver to remove two torx screws (callout 1) and remove the ADF separationpad assembly.
