Removing and Installing the PCI Riser Assembly Always operate your server chassis with the PCI riser assembly in place. The riser assembly is required for proper airflow within the chassis. You will need to remove the PCI riser assembly from the chassis to replace the PCI riser connectors, or to add or remove a PCI add-in card. Always operate your server chassis with the PCI riser assembly in place. The riser assembly is
