Replacing the Power Supply Distribution Module (AC Version) ✏ NOTE This procedure only applies to the AC version of the Intel® Server Chassis SR2400. If you are replacing a power distribution module for the Intel® Server Chassis SR2400DC, see "Replacing the Power Supply Distribution Module (DC Version)" for instructions. The power supply distribution module is at the front of the power supply. This module can be replaced if it fails. To replace the power supply distribution module, use the following instructions. 1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See "Safety Information." 2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable. 3. Remove the chassis cover. For instructions, see "Removing the Chassis Cover." 4. Remove the air baffle. If you are using fixed drives, see "Removing the Fixed Drive Air Baffle (No Backplane Installed)" for instructions. If you are using hot-swap drives, see "Removing the Large Hot-swap Air Baffle (Backplane Installed)" for instructions. 5. Remove the hot swap power supply/supplies. Replacing the Power Supply Distribution Module (AC
Version)

This procedure only applies to the AC version of the Intel® Server Chassis SR2400. If you are
replacing a power distribution module for the Intel® Server Chassis SR2400DC,
see “Replacing
the Power Supply Distribution Module (DC Version)” for instructions.
The power supply distribution module is at the front of the power supply. This module can be
replaced if it fails. To replace the power supply distribution module, use the following instructions.
1.
Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See “

2.
Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3.
Remove the chassis cover. For instructions, see
“Removing the Chassis Cover.”
4.
Remove the air baffle. If you are using fixed drives, see “
