Installing the PCI Riser Assembly into the Chassis Installing and Removing a PCI Riser Connector The PCI riser connectors can be replaced if one fails or if a different option is required. To replace a PCI riser connector, use the instructions under "Removing a PCI Riser Connector" to remove a connector, and then follow the instructions under "Installing the PCI Riser Assembly" to install a new riser connector. NOTE To eliminate the possibility of installing the replacement connectors on the wrong side of the PCI riser assembly, replace one connector at a time. Installing and Removing a PCI Riser Connector
The PCI riser connectors can be replaced if one fails or if a different option is required. To replace a
PCI riser connector, use the instructions under “
Removing a PCI Riser Connector
” to remove a
connector, and then follow the instructions under “
Installing the PCI Riser Assembly”
to install a
new riser connector.
NOTE
To eliminate the possibility of installing the replacement connectors on the
wrong side of the PCI riser assembly, replace one connector at a time.
