Resetting the Network Interface Card When your network interface card does not work properly, you need to reboot the card. 1 Press Menu until "Sys. Admin Tools" appears. 2 Press the scroll buttons until "Network Setup" appears on the bottom line of the display then press Enter. 3 Press the scroll buttons until "Reset NIC" appears and press Enter. 4 Press the scroll buttons to select "Yes" and press Enter. To cancel restoring, select "No." 5 To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear. Configuring Network Configuring TCP/IP Your printer can be set up on a variety of TCP/IP networks. There are two ways that your printer can be assigned a TCP/IP address, depending on your network: • Static Addressing: TCP/IP address is assigned manually by the system administrator. • Dynamic Addressing BOOTP/DHCP (default): TCP/IP address is assigned automatically by the server. Static Addressing To enter the TCP/IP address from your printer's control panel, take the following steps: 1 Press Menu until "Sys. Admin Tools" appears. 2 Press the scroll buttons until "Network Setup" appears on the bottom line of the display then press Enter. 3 Press the scroll buttons until "Config Network" appears and press Enter.
