Storing a Number Using the One-touch Dial Buttons on the E-mail Keyboard 1 Make sure that the machine is in the fax idle mode. If necessary, press Fax to enter the fax idle mode. 2 Enter the number you want to store by using the number keypad and then press the one-touch dial button on the Email keyboard. Or, press and hold the one-touch dial button you want to and enter the number. 3 Press Enter to save the number. 4 To assign a name to the number, enter the desired name using the E-mail keyboard. Or, If you do not want to assign a name, skip this step. 4 5 Press Enter when the name appears correctly or without entering a name. 6 To store more telephone numbers, repeat steps 2 through 3. Or To return to Standby mode, press Stop/Clear. Sending a Fax using a One-Touch Number 1 Load the document you want to send in the Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) or on the scan glass. See "Loading Document(s) for Faxing" on page 2.3. 2 Make sure that the machine is in the fax idle mode. If necessary, press Fax to enter the fax idle mode. 3 You can use Resolution, Original Type, Darkness and/or Duplex to choose the appropriate sending condition for the document.
