1 TROUBLESHOOTING FOR THE HARDWARE „ Paper jam in the Hanging Finisher MJ-1031 (optional) Be careful not to let your fingers be caught between the equipment and the finisher (optional). This could injure you. 1 Separate the finisher from the equipment. Press the lever to unlock the finisher and slowly separate it from the equipment, placing both of your hands on the front and back of the finisher. 2 Open the Bridge Kit cover. 3 Remove the jammed paper from the equipment side. 4 Close the Bridge Kit cover. 5 Remove the jammed paper from the paper exit portion. 38 Clearing a Paper Jam

Clearing a Paper Jam

Close the Bridge Kit cover.

Separate the finisher from the equipment.
Press the lever to unlock the finisher and slowly separate it from the
equipment, placing both of your hands on the front and back of the
finisher.

Open the Bridge Kit cover.

Remove the jammed paper from the equipment side.

Remove the jammed paper from the paper exit
portion.
