4 Replacement Procedures 4.14 Hinge cables 4.14 Hinge cables Removing the hinge cables The following describes the procedure for removing the hinge cables. (See Figure 4-23.) 1. Peel off two glass tapes securing the hinge cables. 2. Disconnect the microphone cable and LCD cable from the connector on the system board. 3. Disconnect the Digitizer cable and LCD power cable. 4. Remove carefully the hinge cables from the guide of the base assembly. Connect the Digitizer cable and LCD power cable to the connector on the system board. 2.
