User's Manual DISC-IN-USE INDICATOR THE GRAND TOUR EJECT HOLE EJECT BUTTON Figure 2-11 The optical media device Disc-In-Use Indicator Eject button Eject hole This indicator lights when the CD/DVD is being accessed. Press the eject button to open the drawer partially. Insert a slender object to open the drawer when the power to the computer is off. CAUTION: Check the Slim Select Bay indicator when you use the DVD-ROM drive. Do not press the eject button, disconnect a drive or turn off the computer while the light is glowing. Doing so could damage the DVD/CD or the drive. DVD-ROM drives and media are manufactured according to the specifications of six marketing regions. When you purchase DVD media, make sure it matches your drive, otherwise it will not play properly.
