The recorded data cannot be erased or changed. Use 24-speed CD-R discs. CD-RW describes compact discs that can be recorded more than once. Use either 1, 2, or 4 multi speed CD-RW disks or high-speed 4- to 24-speed discs. The write speed of the high-speed CD-RW discs i s maximum 24-speed. Use Drag'n Drop CD to write compact discs. NOTE: The physical features of this drive are similar to those of the DVD-ROM drive. Refer to the illustration in the DVD-ROM drive section. CAUTION: Check the Slim Select Bay indicator when you use the CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive. Do not press the eject button, disconnect a drive or turn off the computer while the light is glowing. Doing so could damage the CD/DVD or the drive. CD-RW/DVD-ROM drives and media are manufactured according to the specifications of six marketing regions. When you purchase DVD media, make sure it matches your drive, otherwise it will not play properly.
