CHAPTER 12 Port Setup 12.1 Port Setup Use this screen to configure basic port settings, such as speed, duplex, and flow control. You can also configure the default 802.1p priority and the way bridge protocol data units (BPDU) are handled. To open this screen, click Basic Setting > Port Setup. Figure 24 Port Setup The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 14 Port Setup LABEL DESCRIPTION Slot Select the slot at whose settings you want to look. Port This field displays the slot number and port number. * Settings in this row apply to all ports. Use this row only if you want to make some settings the same for all ports. Use this row first to set the common settings and then make adjustments on a port-by-port basis. Active Note: Changes in this row are copied to all the ports as soon as you make them. Select this check box to enable a port. The factory default for all ports is enabled. A port must be enabled for data transmission to occur. MS-7206 User's Guide 79
