OTHER FUNCTIONS 14 D DV Data Tx (DV Data TX) This item appears only when entering set mode from Digital modes. Selects the transmission condition for the low-speed data operation from PTT and AUTO. • PTT : Transmits the entered text when [PTT] is pushed. (default) • AUTO : Transmits the entered text when the PC key- board operation is performed. (The transceiver has 500 msec. carrier sense operation before transmit.) PTT DV Data TX D Digital repeater set (Digital RPT Set) This item appears only when entering set mode from Digital modes. Selects the automatic repeater call sign setting capability during digital repeater operation from ON and OFF. • ON : The call sign that is included in the down-link sig- nal from the accessed repeater is set into "RPT1" of the select call sign screen automatically, even when accessing the repeater with a wrong call sign setting. (default) • OFF : The repeater call sign setting won't be changed. ON Digital RPT Set 14 104
