Application - Click [CS] to shows the Select Call sign screen. - Click [Z] to select the desired call sign (previously called), or enter the desired call sign into the text box directly. - Click [OK]. Click to select the desired call sign (programmed) ; or enter the desired call sign directly. RC-24 - Push [CS• •1]. - Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired call sign (pro- grammed), or push [V/M] then set the desired call sign (see pgs. 42-44), then push [SQL] for 0.5 sec. - Push [CS• •1] 4 times to exit call sign select mode. See page 47 for details. NOTE: The digital modes operation is vastly different than FM. One of the differences is in the digital modes the squelch does not function, changing the squelch setting or pressing the moni button will not open to hear the hiss of "White Noise." 46

Application

- Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired call sign (pro-
grammed), or push [V/M] then set the desired call sign

44), then push [SQL] for 0.5 sec.
- Push [CS
1] 4 times to exit call sign select mode.

Push and hold [PTT] to transmit and speak into the micro-
phone at normal voice level.
Transmit indicator appears and the RF meter shows the output
power.
The programmed your (
MY
) call sign is displayed on the RC-
24 function display.

Release [PTT] to return to receive.
The other station call sign will be received.
Up to 10 received call signs can be stored into the received call
record automatically. See page 47 for details.
NOTE:
The digital modes operation is vastly different than
FM. One of the differences is in the digital modes the
squelch does not function, changing the squelch setting or
pressing the moni button will not open to hear the hiss of
White Noise.
