POP3, POP3 Settings

Network Configuration POP3 Post Office Protocol, version 3 (POP3) is a protocol that allows email clients to retrieve email from remote servers over TCP/IP on network port 110. This printer uses POP3 for the Internet Fax service. Note: If your printer is locked, you must log in as a system administrator. For details, see Accessing CentreWare IS on page 17. 1. In CentreWare IS, click Properties > Connectivity > Protocols > POP3 Setup. 2. Select the address type. Options are IPv4 and Host Name. 3. Type the appropriately formatted address and port number in the POP3 Server field. The default port number is 110. 4. Type the Login Name assigned to the printer that will be used to log in to the POP3 server. 5. Type then retype an alphanumeric password. 6. Enable to save new password. 7. Under POP3 Settings, select Enable receipt of Email via POP3. 8. Type a Polling Interval value between 1 and 60 minutes. The default value is 15 minutes. 9. POP3
Post Office Protocol, version 3 (POP3) is a protocol that allows email clients to retrieve email from
remote servers over TCP/IP on network port 110. This printer uses POP3 for the Internet Fax service.
Note:
If your printer is locked, you must log in as a system administrator. For details, see

In CentreWare IS, click
Properties
>
Connectivity
>
Protocols
>
POP3 Setup

Select the address type. Options are
IPv4

.
