Cause The name (or the default name) of the machine has been changed. The machine does not display in Chooser. Confirmation Method Action Check that the machine name has been changed in Chooser. Change the name of the machine or the other printer to avoid the same name on the network. Use a network management software to check that the type of the NBP entity name for the machine has been changed from LaserWriter. If the type of NBP entity name for the machine has been changed from LaserWriter, the machine cannot be selected in Chooser. If the machine must be selected, open the machine using Apple Share Print Server or Windows Server. Use a network management software to check that the machine exists on the network.Check that the network is connected correctly. If the machine cannot be found on the network, the machine may be off or the network cable may be faulty.
