Document Handling This section describes how to load the document on the Platen Glass. „ Document Requirements The documents you load on the Platen Glass for copying or scanning must meet these requirements: Document type Size (W x L) z Documents z Photographs z Book Max. 8.5" x 11.7" / 216 x 297 mm Thickness Max. 0.7" / 18 mm „ Loading Documents Load documents that you want to copy or scan on the Platen Glass. Note Make sure any glue, ink, correction fluid, or the like is completely dry before loading the document. 1 Lift the Document Cover. 2 Load your document on the Platen Glass. z Place your document face down on the Platen Glass. z Align the upper left corner of your document with the alignment mark on the lower right corner of the Platen Glass. 20 Before Printing Chapter 1
