C6576M OSM Serial Subinterface Dialog Box Chapter 5 Physical Object Dialog Boxes SONET Path Header (J1) Area The SONET Path Header (J1) area contains the following information: • Expected Size-Maximum length of the expected receive SONET Path overhead message in bytes. • Transmit Size-Maximum length of the transmitting SONET Path overhead message in bytes. • Expected Label-The expected receive SONET Path overhead message. If the expected label is longer than the expected size, it will be truncated. • Transmit Label-Transmitting SONET Path overhead message. If the transmitting label is longer than the transmitting size, it will be truncated. • Modify SONET Path Header (J1) button-Launches a subdialog box to modify the expected receive and transmit SONET Path overhead message. Figure 5-80 shows the subdialog box launched by this button. The following items are displayed in the subdialog box: - Expected Size - Transmit Size - Expected Label - Transmit Label - Modify button-Sets the specified values of the attributes given in the subdialog box. Note In 12.1(11b)E and later the values for the Expected Size and the Transmit Size should be the same since the Tx and Rx message sizes cannot be independently configured.
