xStack® DGS-3600 Series Layer 3 Managed Gigabit Ethernet Switch SNMP View Table This window is used to assign views to community strings that define which MIB objects can be accessed by a remote SNMP manager. To view this window, click Administration > SNMP Manager > SNMP View Table, as shown below: Figure 2- 70. SNMP View Table window To delete an existing SNMP View Table entry, click the corresponding button in the Delete column. To create a new entry, click the Add button which will reveal a new window. Figure 2- 71. SNMP View Table Configuration window The SNMP View created with this table maps SNMP users (identified in the SNMP User Table) to the views created in the previous window. The following parameters can set: Parameter Description View Name Type an alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters. This is used to identify the new SNMP view being created. Subtree OID Type the Object Identifier (OID) Subtree for the view. The OID identifies an object tree (MIB tree) that will be included or excluded from access by an SNMP manager. View Type Select Included to ensure this object is included in the list of objects that an SNMP manager can access. Select Excluded to exclude this object from the list of objects that an SNMP manager can access. To implement your new settings, click Apply. To return to the SNMP View Table window, click the Show All SNMP View Table Entries link. 66
