Driver feature comparison in various operating systems The following tables detail the software features available for each driver type and for each supported operating system that the HP Color LaserJet 3500 series printers support. The printing system driver for Windows 2000 and Windows XP is the new HP host-based unidriver, with a user interface look and feel that is consistent across the PCL 5c, PCL 6, and PS drivers. The printing-system drivers for Windows 98, Windows Me, and Windows NT 4.0 are the HP traditional PCL 5c and PCL 6 drivers and the HP traditional PS driver.
