Chapter 1. General information This Hardware Maintenance Manual and Troubleshooting Guide contains information about servicing the IBM xSeries 236 Type 8841 server. You can obtain up-to-date information about the server and other IBM server products at http://www.ibm.com/eserver/xseries/. The model number and serial number are on labels on the bottom of the server and on the front, visible through the bezel, as shown in the following illustration.
