Battery Install the Battery 1. Press the battery cover release latch. 2. Lift the battery cover up and slide it forward. 3. Insert the top end of the battery in the direction of the arrow printed on the battery into the phone housing. The gold contacts on the top of the battery should match up with those on the phone.
