Otherwise, the phone probes the route/gateway address to determine if there is network connectivity. • Bit 2-Reserved for future use. • Bit 3 (mask 0x8)-If 1, do not request DHCP option 150 in the DHCP DISCOVERY message. • Bit 4 (mask 0x10)-If 1, assume operation under VLAN.
