This setting enables you to fine-tune the Automatic setting for 3 the TrueType Font Download Option setting on the Advanced Options dialog box of the Printing Preferences dialog box. Maximum Font Size to Download as Bitmap 3 Specify the maximum font size (in pixels) for which the printer driver will download TrueType fonts as bitmap (Type 3) fonts. A 3 font larger than the maximum setting will be downloaded as an outline (Type 1) font.
