Installing a memory module 8 Follow these steps to install an optional memory module into the printer: w Warning: To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to install a memory 8 module unless the printer is turned off. 8 1. Turn off the printer. 8 2. Unplug the printer's power cord from the electrical outlet and from the printer. 3. Remove all interface cables from the interface connectors. 8 4. Installing a memory module
Follow these steps to install an optional memory module into the
printer:
w
Warning:
To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to install a memory
module unless the printer is turned off.
1.
Turn off the printer.
2.
Unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet and
from the printer.
3.
Remove all interface cables from the interface connectors.
4.
Remove the printer’s right side cover to reveal the slot for
installing the memory module.
