Utilizing Various Information 5 Chapter Editing the Address Book The Address Book stores information about the following types of location. You can edit the contents of the Address Book. • Last Destination - the destination whose route was set most recently. • Destination History - destinations and way points you have searched in the past. • Registered Locations - a manually registered location, such as your home, your favorite location, or the location whose information was edited, such as renaming. sRegistering a previous location in the Address Book Once searched, destinations or way points are automatically memorized and stored in the Address Book as Destination History. When the number of locations exceeds 100, the oldest location is overwritten automatically. Therefore, to ensure that a particular location is kept in the Address Book, you must register it manually as Registered Locations. Information edited as described in "Editing a location's information" below is also automatically registered in the Address Book. Once the location is registered, you can set the route to this location by voice operation. 1 Select "Address Book" in the Main menu and click the OK button. 2 Select the location you want to register in the Address Book and move the joystick to the left. Editing the Address Book
The Address Book stores information about the following types of location. You can edit the
contents of the Address Book.
Last Destination

location, or the location whose information was edited, such as renaming.
Registering a previous location in the Address Book
Once searched, destinations or way points are automatically memorized and stored in the
Address Book as Destination History. When the number of locations exceeds 100, the oldest
location is overwritten automatically. Therefore, to ensure that a particular location is kept in
the Address Book, you must register it manually as Registered Locations.
Information edited as described in “Editing a location’s information” below is also automati-
cally registered in the Address Book. Once the location is registered, you can set the route to
this location by voice operation.
