Before using the e-mail program, make sure you have created a data account, an e-mail account and set which e-mail account to use. See "Setting up WAP and E-mail" on page 66. Note: You must have a subscription that supports data transmission. Sending and Receiving The Send & Receive option in the E-mail menu offers the fastest way for you to check for new e-mail messages and send e-mail messages saved in your Outbox. Writing and Sending To write and send new e-mail messages 1. Scroll to Messages, Y E S, E-mail, Y E S , Compose. 2. Select To: and press Y E S . You can: • select Add name: and press Y E S . Enter a name and e-mail address. • press to enter the phone book and retrieve a saved e-mail address. 3. If you want to send a copy of the message to someone, select Cc: and select the address as above. 4. If you want to set a priority other than Normal to the message, scroll to Priority, Y E S . Select High or Low. 5. Select Subject: and press Y E S . Enter a title and press Y E S . This is mandatory. 6. Select Text: and press Y E S . Enter your message and press Y E S . 7. Select one of the following: • Send now The message is sent at once. • Send now with attachment The phone's infrared port searches for an infrared camera in order to load pictures as attachments.
